Chapter 1 - Is That My Mother I See In The Mirror?

"I am starting to look like my mother!"

(or father, as the case may be)

All of us resemble one parent or the other, but when we reach 30 or 40 we begin to see dark circles under our eyes, wrinkles, facial lines, crow's feet , age spots, sun damage, photo-aging, and many of the other signs of facial skin aging that we are used to seeing in our 60 or 70 year old parents. This is not a welcome sight especially when we see these changes during our most energetic and active stage of our life.
