Dear Sarah,

Lasergenesis® has been reported to reduce skin pore size in several clinical papers. The important point is that reduction in skin pore size has required 4-5 treatments and 4-5 months to see the result.

The most important thing for you to do is to consult a reputable board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced with Lasergenesis® or another laser called Smoothbeam® and ask the doctors if they can assure you that the treatments will reduce the size of your skin pores based on their experience using these lasers.

Some report reduction of skin pore size using IPL or photofacial treatments as well.

It is also very important to reduce skin oil production with topical retinoid creams and frequent microdermabrasion and dermasound treatments. Check my other blogs on reducing enlarged skin pores.
