Dear Dr. Seckel, Hello, I had a dermabrasion 7 months ago. Being that I’m Asian, I suffer now from color variation between my face (new lighter) and my neck (old darker). Is there any form of lasers or treatments out there that could help diminish this line? I know it will likely not ever go away fully, but just anything to help minimize the difference Thank you! Dear Dr. Seckel, I am 42 years old, and have some “sun” or “age” spots on my face, along with some fine lines and wrinkles developing and loosening skin on my neck. Dear Dr. Seckel, I have one dark spot on my face under my left eye. I am using tri-luma skin crème. Should I treat the spot or the whole face? I would like to know what you think about lasers for people with medium to dark skin? Would lasers still be a good idea? In my opinion there are no safe procedures to lighten dark skin to white skin. Very deep laser treatment can remove pigmentation but the result would be uneven color, possibly deep scarring and a very noticeable demarcation line on the neck where the dark skin would begin again.

Dear Dr Seckel, I recently got your book and could not put it down-Very informative!! I have a prescription for Glyquin. I am 34 year old healthy female with a tendency for break outs and brown staining-I have brown patches on my cheeks that I attribute to the sun-My question is should I use the Glyquin on just the patches or a small amount on my entire face as I have read it will only lighten the pigmented areas?
