Hello Dr. Seckel, I am 27 years old and have noticed worsening of dark circles under my eyes just in the last two months. Extra sleep does not help and I’m considering IPL for old skin blemishes - can this help the circles as well? if not, is there anything else i can do? Vicky, Canada

IPL or photo facial will not help dark circles under the eyes. Usually an eyelid surgery procedure called transconjunctival laser blepharoplasty with arcus marginalis release and fat repositioning is required to correct dark circles under the eyes.
