Read "Save Your Face"

Dear Dr Seckel, I am 40 years old and have 40 years of sun damage and age spots on my face. I am looking for a procedure with minimal down time because taking time off from work is not an option. I’d appreciate any suggestions, thanks, Jill, brigantine, NJ

Dear Jill,

I wold start your facial skin rejuvenation and pigment removal program with a good skin cream such as Epiquin®, Glyquin®, or Retin A® and Hydroquinone and a series of 4 microdermabrasions®.

After that IPL or photo facial treatments can certainly help remove pigment and the brown spots and any blood vessels or red flush. IPL also called Photo facial rejuvenation requires no down time. IPL is a good non-surgical facial rejuvenation technique, but it is not as effective for wrinkle removal and removal of fine lines.

Wrinkle removal will require deep exfoliation-the least down time after laser skin rejuvenation called laser peel is with the activefx laser skin peel using the Lumenis® Ultrapulse® Encore® laser-if you have this wrinkle removal procedure on a Thursday you may be able to return to work on Tuesday or Wednesday the following week.

I suggest you read my book Save Your Face-available on my website-it
teaches you about all the non-surgical facial rejuvenation options, or contact me.

Sincerely,

Dr Seckel
